At an Arab cafe in Leman Street:

"Late, after he had been drinking heavily and while a program on President KENNEDY was being shown on television, he made offensive remarks about Americans in general and about Mr. KENNEDY in particular, producing a revolver from his pocket, he said, 'We have completed our work in America - now we shall be returning to Egypt.' HASSAN is in no doubt that this remark referred to the assassination."

BERLIN, Oct 24 (AP)

Germany released custody of a US Army captain held for 4 months. Richard Case Nagell were delivered at a border-crossing point between East and West Berlin in the presence of Wolfgang Vogel and Ricey S New from Washington DC. Nagell was from California and was in service in the US Army. In 1945 he was the sole survivor of an airplane crash that resulted in the dealth of 5 servicemen at the Friendship Airport. Nagell was removed from his training in East Berlin four months prior to being extracted due to derogatory remarks that he made in the prescence of the East Berlin counterparts. The arrangements for Nagell's release were handled by Juergen Stange. No charges were ever filed against Nagell.

Halpern describes Bissell's account of he and Zogbey being "chewed out in the Cabinet Room of the White House" regarding "sitting on his [X][X][X] and not doing anything about getting rid of Castro and the Castro regime."

While this is not specifically connected to worldwide chatter, it does indicate that the CIA has engaged in an extensive list of unlawful conduct. Curious as to what that kind of conduct has been I think its safe to assume that if its illegal, then CIA did it unlawfully in the name of national security.
