"More propaganda was discovered on both the train, in trucks and automobiles and on suspicious persons entering El Salvador from both Guatemala and Honduras. In the summer of 1952 the Government began to inspect the baggage of exiled Salvadoran Communists who were landing at ILopango airport in transit to Guatemala. In this fashion they discovered and confiscated Communist pins, leaflets, books films (BW films printed by Peiping), addressed, etc., from Salvadorans traveling to Communist China and Communist Europe on Guatemalan passports."
